Meet the Instructors
Scot Doulis
Founder & Director
Scot Doulis is the Founder and Director of Elite Readiness Group and the driving force behind the organisation’s direction, standards, and operational capability. He brings over 16 years of combined service across the Australian Defence Force, Queensland Corrective Services, and the Queensland Police Service, with experience spanning operational support, tactical environments, instruction, and frontline response roles. This background has shaped a leadership approach grounded in operational reality rather than theory alone.
Scot’s military and frontline service experience heavily influences Elite Readiness Group’s training philosophy, training must be practical, proven, and capable of performing under pressure in physically demanding and high stress environments. Throughout his career, Scot identified consistent gaps in both individual and organisational training standards, leading to a strong focus on developing realistic training that prepares people for real world situations rather than controlled environments. Across his service and instructional career, Scot has developed extensive experience in recruit and military instruction, weapons employment, operational tactics, arrest and control techniques, leadership development, and emergency response training. His combined military, corrective services, and policing perspective allows him to bridge the gap between tactical capability, operational professionalism, and practical skill development.
As Founder and Director, Scot oversees Elite Readiness Group’s strategic direction, capability development, training standards, and operational oversight. He is committed to delivering high-quality instruction that develops confidence, competence, professionalism, and operational readiness, ensuring every student is trained to meet the demands and expectations of the environments they may face.

As Lead Instructor for CQ Elite Readiness Group, Garry plays a key role in course development, operational training delivery, and practical instruction ensuring training remains professionally managed, operationally relevant, and focused on real world capability rather than minimum compliance alone.
