ERG operates across licensed security services, nationally recognised training delivered through registered training partners, firearms training and professional capability development.

We believe clients and participants should be able to clearly understand what ERG is licensed to provide, which Registered Training Organisation is responsible for nationally recognised training, and which Queensland regulator determines licence outcomes.

Queensland Security Firm Licensing

Elite Readiness Group Pty Ltd holds a Queensland Security Firm Licence issued under the Security Providers Act 1993.

ERG's Class 1 licence authorises the company to supply Security Officers, Private Investigators, Crowd Controllers and Bodyguards.

ERG's Class 2 licence authorises the company to supply Security Advisers and Security Equipment Installers.

This licensing allows Elite Readiness Group to provide regulated security services and to employ and deploy appropriately licensed personnel as security contracts and workforce requirements develop.

Elite Readiness Group is a Provisional Corporate Member of the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL).

ASIAL is the national peak body representing Australia's security industry. Members are bound by the ASIAL Constitution, Code of Professional Conduct, policies and procedures.

Nationally Recognised Training

Elite Readiness Group delivers nationally recognised security and workplace training through registered training partners. ERG is not itself a Registered Training Organisation.

For relevant security, first aid and workplace training, ERG currently works with: Five Star Training Academy | RTO 31996. Five Star Training Academy is responsible for student enrolment, administration, government training funding where applicable, student records, compliance requirements and certification. Elite Readiness Group provides face-to-face training through trainers recognised under the Five Star Training Academy arrangement.

Training delivered through this framework may include:

• CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
• First Aid and CPR
• Advanced First Aid
• Responsible Service of Alcohol
• White Card
• Other approved nationally recognised training within the applicable RTO scope and delivery arrangement

Government-funded training may be available to eligible participants. Eligibility is determined under the relevant Queensland Government funding program and the responsible RTO's enrolment requirements.

Completing a security qualification does not automatically provide a Queensland security licence. Successful completion provides the training evidence required to apply for the relevant licence function. The Queensland Office of Fair Trading assesses and determines security licence applications.

Firearms and Weapons Safety Training

Nationally recognised firearms and weapons safety training is delivered by approved instructors operating through: Queensland Military Rifle Club Inc | RTO 45795

Where applicable, firearms licensing training is delivered under the 11029NAT Course in Firearms and Weapons Safety.

ERG instructors delivering this training operate within the applicable RTO, instructor licensing and Queensland legislative requirements. Training is conducted at approved shooting ranges or other locations authorised for the specific training activity.

Successful completion provides the applicable nationally recognised training outcome through the responsible RTO. It does not itself provide a Queensland weapons licence.

Weapons licence applications and approvals are determined by Queensland Police Service Weapons Licensing.

Training, Safety and Risk Management

ERG's training approach is built around clear instruction, practical application, appropriate assessment and safe delivery.

Where nationally recognised training is involved, delivery is conducted within the requirements of the responsible RTO. Professional and non-accredited training is delivered within the relevant legal, safety and risk-management requirements for the activity and environment.

Our instructors bring experience across Defence, public safety, security, firearms instruction, emergency response and operational training. That experience supports the way training is delivered, but it does not replace the civilian standards, qualifications or regulatory requirements that apply.

Safety is non-negotiable. Training and operational activities are planned and delivered with consideration to:

• applicable Queensland legislation
• RTO requirements where relevant
• instructor qualifications and authorities
• range and venue requirements
• participant supervision
• risk assessment and control measures
• incident and emergency procedures
• participant welfare
• equipment and training-environment requirements

Firearms and other higher-risk activities are only conducted within the legal, licensing, instructional and venue requirements relevant to that activity.

Training and Licensing Are Separate

ERG maintains a clear distinction between delivering training and determining regulatory approval. Training providers deliver and assess training. Regulators determine licences.

For Queensland security licensing, the relevant regulator is the Queensland Office of Fair Trading. For Queensland weapons licensing, the relevant regulator is Queensland Police Service Weapons Licensing.

ERG does not guarantee that completing a course will result in a security or weapons licence being granted. Applicants must satisfy the relevant regulator's eligibility, suitability, identification, criminal-history and other application requirements.
